Arabic vocabulary
الصَّوَابِ is how you say “truth” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
فَهَذَانِ عَادَا عَنْ مَنْهَجِ الصَّوَابِ،
Thus these two have strayed from the path of truth,
الصوابِ، — the truth. A noun carrying 'al-' (the), the definite owning half of the 'of' pairing, set directly after its partner with no 'of' between. It is the owner the path belongs to, so the two together read 'the path of the right', built by pure adjacency.
