How to say “turning away” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَصَرْفُهَا بِزِمَامِهَا عَنْ مَعَاصِيِ اللَّهِ
And he turned it away with its rein from disobediences of God.
وَصَرْفُهَا — and he turned it away. wa- opens this clause, and the rest is an action-noun ('turning-away') with a feminine 'it' attached as its object, read here as a verb-like act. The conjunction ties it onto the prior leading, parallel to it.
