فَكَتَبَ إِبْنُ الْقَصَّابِ إِلَى الْخَلِيفَةِ النَّاصِرِ،
So Ibn al-Qassab wrote to the caliph al-Nasir,
النَّاصِرِ — al-Nasir. A regnal name 'al-Nasir' standing in apposition to 'the caliph', naming the same person and sharing his genitive case. Arabic stacks title then name as two words for one referent.
