How to say “was made beloved” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ثُمَّ حُبِّبَ إِلَيْهِ الْخَلَاءُ
Then he came to love solitude.
حُبِّبَ — was made beloved. This verb is passive: its inner vowel pattern, not a helper word, shows that solitude was made dear to him rather than him actively loving it. The experience is framed as something done to his heart, so no separate doer is named.
