Arabic vocabulary
How to say “way” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
مَا أَجِدُ لَهُ مَسْلَكًا
I can find no way for him.
مَسْلَكًا — a way. An indefinite noun in the object slot, the thing being looked for. Its ending carries the object marking that signals it is what the verb acts on, and the lack of 'the' leaves it general: not a particular route but any way at all. That indefiniteness sharpens the sense of finding none whatsoever.
