Arabic vocabulary
How to say “will come near you” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّكَ شَيْطَانٌ حَتَّى تُصْبِحَ
And no devil will come near you until morning.
يَقْرَبَنَّكَ — will come near you. A present-tense verb with a doubled '-anna' emphatic ending and an attached 'you' pronoun as object, 'shall by no means come near you'. The emphatic ending, under the negation before it, hardens the promise into an absolute guarantee.
