Arabic vocabulary
How to say “will you sell” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ثُمَّ قَالَ أَتَبِيعُ جَمَلَكَ
Then he said, "Will you sell your camel?"
أَتَبِيعُ — will you sell. This is a present-shape verb with a question marker prefixed onto its front, turning it into a yes/no question ('will you...?'). The 'you' doer is built into the verb shape, and the prefix is what makes it a question rather than a statement.
