Arabic vocabulary
How to say “with the ball” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
كَمَا يَتَلاَعَبُ الصِّبْيَانُ بِالْكُرَةِ
Just as the boys play with the ball.
بِالْكُرَّةِ — with the ball. The contact preposition 'bi-' marking what the play is done with, fused to a definite noun marked by 'al-', 'with the ball'. The 'bi-' forces that noun into the genitive. So one piece carries the relationship and the object of the boys' play.
