How to say “would have been exposed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَلَوْ قَدْ طَلَعَ عَلَيْهِ صُبْحُ الْعِلْمِ اِفْتَضَحَ
So if the dawn of knowledge had risen upon him, he would have been exposed.
اِفْتَضَحَ — would have been exposed. A past-tense verb serving as the result side of the counterfactual, what would have followed had the condition held. Inside this 'had X, then Y' frame the past-tense shape carries 'would have been'.
