How to say “you (feminine) give birth” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَوْصَى إِنْ وَلَدْتِ غُلَامًا أَنْ تُسَمِّيهِ يَالَادِين
And he instructed that if you give birth to a son, name him Yaladin.
وَلَدْتِ — you (feminine) give birth. A past-tense verb with a feminine 'you' (singular) subject built into its ending, addressing a woman, used here as the condition after 'if'. Though past in form, in a conditional it reads as a present 'if you give birth'. The feminine 'you' is carried inside the verb, marking who is addressed.
