Arabic vocabulary
How to say “you (plural) excuse me” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلَئِنِ إِعْتَذَرْتُ لَا تَعْذِرُونَنِي،
And even if I offered an excuse, you would not accept it.
تَعْذِرُونِي — you (plural) excuse me. A present-tense verb with the plural-you ending plus a tacked-on object pronoun 'me', so 'you all excuse me' lives in a single word. The subject is built into the verb's ending and the object into its tail, with no separate words for either.
