How to say “You shade” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الَّذِينَ تَظَلُّهُمْ فِي عَرْشِكَ؟
Who are those You shade beneath Your Throne?
تَظَلُّهُمْ — You shade them. This is a present-tense verb addressed to 'You' (God) with a 'them' object-pronoun attached, so one word means 'You shade them'. The second-person 'You' is carried by the verb's prefix and the people sheltered are the suffix. It fills the relative clause begun by 'those whom'.
