How to say “a slanderer” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ لِمَ قَالَتْ إِنَّهُ نَمَّاً ذِكْرَ الْحَدِيثِ
She said, so I said, "Why?" She said, "Indeed he was a slanderer of the mention of the report."
نَمَّاً — a slanderer. This noun is the thing asserted about 'him' by the emphasis-particle, so it sits in the accusative that particle requires. It describes the man's character as the point being insisted upon.
