التَّمِيمِيَّ — al-Tamimi. A describing word formed from a noun (an affiliation adjective, 'the Tamim one') marking tribal belonging, attached as an epithet to the name. As an Arabic adjective it follows the noun it qualifies and agrees with it, so it trails and describes the name.
