Arabic vocabulary
How to say “and his friend” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
كَمَا قَدْ يُحِبُّ الرَّجُلُ وَلَدَهُ وَصَدِيقَهُ
Just as a man may love his son and his friend.
وَصَديقه — and his friend. Parallel to the previous word: wa- joins a second object to the verb and the tail -hu again supplies 'his'. It extends the list of what the man may love, with the possessor fused onto the noun exactly as before, keeping the two objects symmetrical.
