Arabic vocabulary
فَازُوا is how you say “attained” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
وَفَازُوا بِهَا بِنِعْمَةِ الْبَاطِنَةِ وَالظَاهِرَةِ
And they attained it by an inward and an outward blessing.
وَفَازُوا — and they attained. wa- ties this onto the prior clause, and the verb is a completed action whose 'they' doer is folded into its plural ending. No separate pronoun is needed because the ending already names the group that attained.
