How to say “benefit” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وأوضح المصنف أن العلم إذا لم يكن للعمل فلا فائدة منه،
The author clarified that knowledge without action is of no benefit.
فَائِدَةَ — benefit. A noun in the form of an absolute denial construction: paired with the 'no' before it, it states 'no benefit whatsoever'. The bare ending it takes is exactly what this 'no ... at all' pattern requires, a categorical negation stronger than a simple 'not'.
