احْذَرْ — Beware. A command-form (imperative) 'be wary / beware', addressed to 'you'. Its clipped jussive shape is the bare order.

And beware that you follow the path of either of two men:
وَاحْذَرْ — and beware. A command fronted by 'wa-' (and), warning the listener off something, the imperative built into the verb's own shape. It typically pairs with a 'that...' clause spelling out the danger, which is exactly what the next word introduces.
