Arabic vocabulary
How to say “by opinion his” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
أَوْ زَاهِدٌ يَتَقَلَّبُ بِرَأْيِهِ الْفَاسِدِ فِي جَهَالَتِهِ،
Or an ascetic who keeps shifting his corrupt opinion in his ignorance,
بِرَأْيِهِ — by opinion his. A 'bi-' prefix fronts the noun to mark the thing he shifts about, his opinion, and a '-hi' suffix glues 'his' onto the end. So one word stacks preposition, noun, and possessor; the suffix points back to the ascetic, fixing whose view it is.
