Arabic vocabulary
How to say “ceased” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
مهلا فَأن ذمّ الروافض قد فار
Wait, for indeed the rage of the dissenters has boiled over.
فَارَ — boiled over. A 'hollow' verb whose middle weak letter shows as a long vowel; it means to seethe or gush up like a boiling spring. With the confirming particle it says the censure of that sect has welled over, not subsided but erupted.
