How to say “context” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لَوْلَا صِحَة مامته مَا قيل ابْن الحنيفة
If not for the soundness of his leadership, he would not be called the son of Hanifiyyah.
مَأَمَّتِهِ — of his context. The '-hi' is the fused owner, 'his', closing the 'of' pairing in the genitive. A single Arabic word again carries both the noun and its possessor, so no separate 'his' appears.
