Arabic vocabulary
How to say “doubtful things” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَبَيْنَهُمَا أُمُورٌ مُشْتَبِهَاتٌ لَا يَعْلَمُهُنَّ كَثِيرٌ مِنْ النَّاسِ،
and between them are doubtful matters, which many people do not know.
مُشْتَبِهَاتٌ — doubtful. A describing-word on 'matters', a participle meaning 'mutually resembling, ambiguous', in the sound feminine plural. Non-human plurals take such feminine-plural agreement, so the adjective matches 'matters' in that shape.
