وَيَشْرَبُ — and drinks. The joined 'and' plus a present-tense verb carrying its own 'he' subject: and he drinks. It continues the picture of the sick person's behavior.

شُرْبُهُ — his drink. This is 'his drink', the noun with attached 'his' pointing to the same unnamed person, and it serves as the subject of the verb before it. The match with 'his food' earlier makes the cause-and-effect parallel clear.
