Arabic vocabulary
يُوَفِّقُ is how you say “enable us” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
وَيُوَفِّقُنَا لِمَا يُرْضِيهِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَالْعَمَلِ وَالنِّيَّةِ،
And enable us to do what pleases Him in our speech, deeds, and intentions,
وَيُوَفِّقُنَا — and he enables us. A present-tense verb fronted by 'wa-' (and), its 'ya-' prefix carrying a 'he' subject, closed by '-na' (us) as object. The 'wa-' adds it to the chain of petitions, so one word holds connector, doer, action, and the 'us' it acts on.
