Arabic vocabulary
How to say “it pleases” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَيُوَفِّقُنَا لِمَا يُرْضِيهِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَالْعَمَلِ وَالنِّيَّةِ،
And enable us to do what pleases Him in our speech, deeds, and intentions,
يُرْضِيهِ — pleases Him. A present-tense verb whose 'ya-' prefix carries a 'it/he' subject, closed by '-hi' (Him) as object, so one word means 'pleases Him'. The suffix points to God, naming the one whose pleasure the speech and deeds are meant to win.
