Arabic vocabulary
How to say “enter” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ولا تدخل الحكمة معدة ملئت طعاما،
Wisdom does not enter a stomach that is full of food.
تَدْخُلُ — it enters. A present-tense verb meaning 'enters', here negated, so it states something that does not occur. Its feminine shape agrees with the feminine subject that follows, and the present tense gives it a general, habitual force.
