Arabic vocabulary
How to say “exiting” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَانْفَرَجَتْ الصَّخْرَةُ غَيْرُ أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ الْخُرُوجَ مِنْهَا
The rock split open, but they could not get out of it.
الْخُرُوجَ — the getting out. A definite verbal noun, the act of going out turned into a nameable thing, with an ending marking it as the object of 'are able'. Arabic packs 'to get out' into one noun here, which is why a single word answers the English phrase about leaving.
