Arabic vocabulary
How to say “for you both” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَاللَّهُ لَكُمَا أَنْ أَرُدَّ عَنْكُمَا الطَّلَبَ
By God, I will withdraw the request from you both.
لَكُمَا — for you both. A 'for/to' preposition fused with a DUAL 'you both', so one word addresses exactly two people. The dual ending is Arabic's dedicated two-person form, sparing a separate 'both'.
