إِنْ لَا أُقِيمُ بَيْنَ أَظْهَرِ قَوْمٍ
If I am not among the foremost of a people.
أَظْهُرٌ — foremost. A noun used in the set phrase 'in the midst of', the front of an 'of' pairing with the following noun. As the head of that pairing it leans on the owner-noun after it to complete the 'midst of a people'.
