And all the game was in the hollow of the fur cloak,
الْفِرَاءِ — the fur cloak. A definite noun 'the fur cloak', the owning second term of 'the hollow of the fur', hence the genitive with al-. It completes the construct, and the pairing carries the 'of' with no separate word, locating the contents within the cloak.
