Arabic vocabulary
تَحْشُرُ is how you say “gather” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
أَمَّا أَوَّلُ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ فَنَارٌ تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ
As for the first of the signs of the Hour, it is a fire that will gather the people.
تَحْشُرُ — it will gather. A present verb 'gathers' opening a describing clause on 'fire', and its shape agrees with that feminine subject. With no separate relative word, the verb trails the noun to mean 'a fire that gathers', and the feminine marking ties it back to the fire.
