How to say “greatest” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمِنْ أَبْهَرِ آيَاتِهِ، وَأَكْبَرِ مُعْجِزَاتِهِ
Among his most astonishing signs and greatest miracles:
وَأَكْبَرِ — and greatest. An elative 'greatest' with wa- joining it to the previous superlative phrase. The wa- coordinates a second 'most ___' construct in parallel. The elative heads its own pairing with 'his miracles', extending the praise to another peak quality.
