How to say “has turned into” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لِأَنَّ حَلَاوَةَ اللَّذَّاتِ اِسْتَحَالَتْ حَنْظَلًا؛
Because the sweetness of pleasures has turned into bitterness.
اِسْتَحَالَتْ — has turned into. A past-tense verb ('has turned into'), feminine to agree with its subject 'the sweetness'. It expresses a change of state and takes the result of that change as a following accusative noun, so it leads straight into what the sweetness became.
