So I was ashamed to have sexual relations with her.
الْوُقُوعِ — having sexual relations. A definite verbal noun, an action turned into a thing you can name and govern, here standing as what the speaker shrank from. It is governed by the 'from' before it and so sits in the genitive, the noun-form Arabic uses to talk about an act in the abstract.
