Arabic vocabulary
How to say “he cooks” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَيَغْسِلُ ثَوْبَهُ، وَيَطْبُخُ، وَيَسْتَقِيُ الْمَاءَ مِنَ الْبِئْرِ،
He washes his garment, cooks, and draws water from the well,
وَيَطْبُخُ — and he cooks. Again wa- coordinates, adding another routine action in the same chain. The present-tense verb carries its 'he' subject internally and takes no stated object here, standing as a complete action on its own. It keeps the parallel list of self-reliant chores going.
