Arabic vocabulary
How to say “he will return” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ أَمَّا إِنَّهُ قَدْ كَذَبَكَ وَسَيَعُودُ
He said, "As for him, he has indeed lied to you and he will return."
وَسَيَعُودُ — and he will return. The connector 'wa-' adds the prediction to the disclosure; the verb it leads carries a future-marking prefix, 'he will return'. So 'wa-' joins two claims while the prefix on the verb sets the second one in time to come.
