وَتَقَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْهَا فِي أَذَاهَا،
And I went to her while she was upset.
أَذَاهُ — her annoyance. A noun 'offence/annoyance' with a possessor fused on the end; the attached owner keeps it in the 'of' ending after the preposition. It names the issue he came to her about.
