Arabic vocabulary
How to say “his helpers” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَيَصِيرُ إِبْلِيسُ وَجُنْدُهُ مِنْ أَعْوَانِهِ وَأَتْبَاعِهِ
Then Iblis and his forces become among his helpers and followers.
أَعْوَانِهِ — his helpers. A plural noun with -hi ('his') fused to its end, in the genitive because 'among' governs it. The attached pronoun points back to the speaker, so these are his helpers, the group Iblis is now counted within.
