How to say “his inward” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلَكِنَّكُمْ مِمَّنْ قُبِحَ بَاطِنُهُ فَرَأَى ظَاهِرَهُ،
But you are among those whose inward is ugly, so he displayed his outward appearance.
بَاطِنُهُ — his inward. A noun ending in -hu 'his', so it fuses 'inner part' with its owner. The -hu points back to the unnamed member of the group, marking this as 'his inner part', the thing said to be foul.
