Arabic vocabulary
How to say “His love” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
هِیَ الَّتِي تَحْوِي مَرْضَاةَ الرَّبِّ وَمَحَبَّتَهُ
It is that which contains the Lord's pleasure and His love.
وَمَحَبَّتَهُ — and His love. A wa- 'and' fused to a noun 'love' carrying a 'his' pronoun, coordinating 'His love' with 'the Lord's pleasure' before it. The attached pronoun points back to the Lord just named, not to the nearest word. It completes the pair of things contained.
