Arabic vocabulary
How to say “his reflections” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَخَوَاطِرُهُ وَنَتَائِجُ فِكْرِهِ قَيْدُهَا فِيهِ،
His reflections and the results of his thinking were recorded in it.
وَخَوَاطِرُهُ — and his reflections. This token fuses the linking wa- with a plural noun carrying -hu ('his'). The wa- opens a new subject, and the attached possessor makes it definite and ties the reflections to the author. It begins the list of what was recorded in the work.
