How to say “I came forward” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَأَقْبَلْتُ حَتَّى قُلْتُ لِأَبِي بَكْرِ أُدْخُلْ،
So I came forward until I said to Abu Bakr, 'Come in.'
فَأَقْبَلْتُ — so I came forward. The fa- ('so') links to the scene; the verb is a past 'I came forward' with the first-person 'I' built in. One word holds the action and doer.
