Arabic vocabulary
How to say “I saw them” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَرَأَيْتُهُمْ فِي عُقُوبَاتٍ لَا يَحِسُّونَ بِهَا،
So I saw them in punishments that they did not feel.
فَرَأَيْتُهُمْ — so I saw them. Three layers in one word: the fa- prefix that ties this result to the prior clause ('so/and then'), a past 'I' verb, and an object pronoun -hum ('them') latched onto its end. Arabic can fold doer, action, and object into a single word, so this one already means 'so I saw them' without separate pieces.
