فَانْطَلَقَ وَانْطَلَقْتُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ حَتَّى جِئْتُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ،
So he set off, and I moved among them until I reached Abu Talha.
وَانْطَلَقْتُ — and I set off. The wa- adds the narrator's parallel move -- 'and I set off' -- '-tu' marking 'I'. It lists his going alongside the Prophet's, two people setting out at once.
