How to say “Imran” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَرُوِيَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمْرَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةِ
It was narrated to us from al-Hasan ibn Imran ibn Uyaynah.
عُمْرَانَ — Imran. The father's name in the possessive chain, in the genitive as the thing 'son of' points to. Its ending marks it as the owner-link in the running identification of the man.
