Arabic vocabulary
How to say “is presented” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَدْ يُعْرَضُ عِنْدَ سَمَاعِ الْمَوَاعِظِ لِلسَّامِعِ يَقْظَةً،
When admonitions are heard, the listener may experience a momentary awakening.
يُعْرَضُ — is presented. This is a doerless (passive) present-tense verb: the awakening is presented to the listener, with no agent named for who presents it. Arabic marks this by reshaping the verb's inner vowels rather than adding a helper word.
