How to say “killing him” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْهُ فَلَا خَيْرَ لَكَ فِي قَتْلِهِ
And if he is not him, then there is no good for you in killing him.
قَتْلِهِ — killing him. A verb-derived noun naming the act of killing, in the genitive because the preposition before it governs it, with an attached 'him' pronoun marking the victim. The suffix supplies whose killing it is, so one word names the action and its target together.
