Arabic vocabulary
How to say “let him hurry” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِذَا شَتَمْتَهُ فَلَيَّهِمْ إِلَى فَلَيَلْطِمْنِي
So if you insult him, let him hurry toward me and strike me.
فَلَيَّهِمْ — so let him hurry. A 'let him' command, the verb pushed into its clipped jussive shape to order a third party. It tells the boy what to do in response, an exhortation rather than a direct address.
