How to say “let him strike” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِذَا شَتَمْتَهُ فَلَيَّهِمْ إِلَى فَلَيَلْطِمْنِي
So if you insult him, let him hurry toward me and strike me.
فَلَيَلْطِمْنِي — so let him strike me. A 'let him' command in the clipped jussive shape, with an attached -ni making 'me' its object. So the order is for the boy to strike the speaker, the object pronoun naming the target.
