How to say “Messiah” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
كَمَا قَالَ الْمَسِيحُ ﴿مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَمَرْتَنِي بِه﴾،
as the Messiah said: 'I said nothing to them except what You commanded me with',
الْمَسِيحُ — the Messiah. This noun carries 'the' and is the doer of the saying verb just before it, arriving after the verb in normal Arabic order. It names the Messiah as the one speaking the quoted words.
